• April-June 2010: two of my After Agnes constructed paintings will be included in the I-95 Triennial at the University of Maine Museum of Art. • March/April 2010: work from my Box Sculpture and After Agnes series will be included in the show Beauty's Burden, curated by David Gibson and Jennifer Junkermeier at the Schmidt Gallery at Wartburg College, Waverly, IA. • May/June 2010: a solo show at Artspace in New Haven, CT. • July 2010: "Here", a group show addressing presence, time, and place. At A.P.E. in Northampton, MA. • September 2010: a solo exhibition of my paintings at the Delavan Gallery, Syracuse, NY • Fall 2009: "All the King's Horses"; a site-specific installation, was featured in Decadence and Decay: The Mansion Project at Paul Robeson Galleries, Rutgers University, Newark, NJ. • Fall 2009: My site-specific installation "In the Balance" shown at PCS 80 in Holyoke, MA, connected the historical use of an 1896 building first utilized as a grocer's warehouse with a contemporary example of food distribution at a regional potato packaging plant. • "PCE1" was included in Color Matters at the South Shore Art Center in Cohasset, MA. The show was juried by Jen Mergel, Associate Curator at the ICA, Boston. Fall 2009 • October 2009: A one-month residency at the Vermont Studio Center, funded in full by a competitive fellowship from the Dedalus Foundation. I began developing a new project, Walking-Marking: a series of work growing out of a time-extended performative wall drawing investigating space, time and labor. The series includes video installation and site-specific video projection. • June 2009: Work from my After Agnes series was included in an exhibit at the Archetime Conference: An interdisciplinary conference on time for artists and scientists. Tank Space, New York City. • June 2009: My painting, AA3, from the After Agnes series, was auctioned at a benefit for the fabulous Gallery Aferro in Newak, NJ. • April 2009: Inclusion in Studio Visit Magazine. The issue was juried by Michael Klein, former Director of the International Sculpture Center and Curator for Microsoft Collection. • March 2009: Consumed: a solo show at Wunderarts Gallery in Amherst, MA. • March 2009: Lightbox, one of my box sculptures, was included in Art Into Life/Life Into Art, a show at the Pen and Brush Gallery in NYC that considers the contemporary treatment of art for art's sake. Curated by Midori Yoshimoto. • February 2009: I created the scenery -- a 40-foot painted scroll -- for a multimedia puppetry show. The performance was a retelling of the 9th-century Chinese story, "Gentling the Bull", which relates the progress of the pilgrim on the path to enlightenment. The show was performed at the Maezumi Institute in Montague, MA. Check out the video here. • December 2008: My work on Plexiglas was in the Small show at Wunderarts Gallery in Amherst, MA. • Work from my What Next? series was in the Fine Arts 2008 show at the Mills Pond Gallery in St. James, NY. The show was juried by Tina Kukielski, Curator at the Whitney Museum. • My wall installations were shown for the first time in a show at Greenfield Community College, Greenfield, MA in November. • I participated in the show "Aftermath" at the Target Gallery, in Alexandria, VA. • My work was included in "Juxtapositions" at Greenfield Community College, Greenfield, MA. • My work on paper was part of a show sponsored by Paper New England at The Bushnell in Hartford, Connecticut.
